Max was born and raised in a state thats name speaks for itself. Montana. The outdoors was simply a crucial part of my heritage. In my younger years, I dreaded hikes and long car rides. As time progressed, and as I came to the realization that the very place around me was largely accountable for my upbringing, I began to fall more and more in love with the vast open spaces it encompassed.

I went to work as an assistant for a commercial architectural photographer for several years. Traveling between homes provided the opportunity to occasionally stop and smell the flowers. Seeing all of these remarkable places filled me with wonder, awe, and obsession.

This eventually gave rise to the desire to convey these thoughts and emotions to others through images. Visiting these remote locations and being on my own terms has aided with the ability to consistently offer and provide quality images. Regardless of the conditions.
