Kim Shirley is an award-winning watercolor artist from western Montana and currently resides in Whitefish. She is a member of several professional artists’ organizations such as the Transparent Watercolor Society (TWSA), Women Artist of the West (WAOW), and is a Signature member of the Montana Watercolor Society (MTWS).
She regularly competes in juried watercolor exhibitions around the nation in addition to other juried exhibitions each year and has won awards for her work with watercolor.
Kim prefers to work with transparent watercolor with the subjects she paints but regularly works with other mediums such as oil, graphite & ink. Her work is a manifestation of the fondness and admiration of her western surroundings.
