She currently resides in Lincoln, Montana living in the mountains and absorbing the beauty that surrounds her. She is a teacher, a story teller, a promoter of the human spirit. She devotes much of her time to her students, the creation of art, and promoting art and artists in a small town atmosphere. Annie has explored combining different mediums and techniques allowing a rich tapestry of color and spirit to prevail in her work. She is on a vision quest rich with layers and textures.

Annie speaks about her work, “My life has been consistent with the word emergence. Each chapter, each year, each month, each day, each hour has provided an element of emergence. Like the earth that surrounds us life is ever changing… emerging, merging, and transforming…. in small subtle ways, in large encumbering ways. My art reflects patterns, colors, shapes, shadows and emerging contrasts. The style remains the same as the medium flows from one stage to another. Changing, evolving the paint allows my spirit and energy to interact with the surface of which I paint. I am no different from any other creative individual and yet vastly different for there is only one with my DNA. Strands of connections, vibrating energies, trail through these emerging formations. These strands share the message of life, love and transformation.
